This is an Agra tour for 2 days and 1 night in which the tourist will visit different tourist attraction of the city which includes Tajmahal, Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-Daula, Fatehpur Sikri and Mehtab Bagh. The famous monuments in Agra are constructed by the Mughal Emperors during their reign. Agra is a beautiful city because it has the most beautiful monument the Tajmahal in it. Reading about Tajmahal is not enough to experience the beauty of the monument so a plan for Agra should be made for the same. The overnight Agra tour package is very interesting because you will get to enjoy the beauty of the Tajmahal during sunrise and the journey would become memorable.
The journey will start from Delhi at 8 or 9 am in the morning. The driver will be ready to pick you up from the hotel or any pre-decided location. Further, the journey from Delhi to Agra will start. The journey between Delhi to Agra is of approximately 3 hours.
The journey will be done through the Yamuna Expressway as it is the fastest route to reach Agra from Delhi. Once you enter in the Agra city, you will check-in to the hotel. In the hotel, you will get to meet the guide for your journey. This guide will help you with your complete journey.
Later, after lunch, you will leave for the Agra sightseeing. On the first day, you will visit the Agra Fort, Mehtab Bagh, and Itmad-ud-daula. Agra fort is a big monument which is made up of red sandstone and was a very important building for the Mughals. Itmad-ud-daula is just a replica of the Tajmahal which was built far before the main Tajmahal was constructed. In the evening you will return back to the hotel and then enjoy the time. Stay overnight in the hotel.
The second day the Agra sightseeing will start early in the morning at around 06:00 A.M. . During sunrise, you will visit the beautiful location of the city that is the Tajmahal because it looks the most during the sunrise. Tajmahal is constructed with white marbles which glitters like the diamond during sunrise. Later, you get to roam the entire monument.
After the Tajmahal visit, you will come back to the hotel for your breakfast. The journey of Agra would end and return journey to Delhi will begin. The reason to leave early is that you will stop at the Fatehpur Sikri which is on the midway of the journey from Agra to Delhi.
The Fatehpur Sikri is also established by the Mughals in 1569 AD and is also considered as the victory capital of the city. There is the world's largest door located in Fatehpur Sikri which is known as the "Buland Darwaza". Most of the people also consider it to be the "Ghost city". Further, the journey to Delhi will resume and the driver will drop you at the preferred location.
